SAGE is one very, very extraordinary and blessed ministry for many who have so much experience and skill. June 25, 2023 will demonstrate that at the Sylvan Meadows Adventist School SAGE Workday. If you are a SAGEr and can participate in this great event and demonstrate your skills, you are invited to come and work. Sylvan Meadows Adventist School is a great school that helps children learn and come closer to their friend Jesus. All SAGErs and friends can find jobs that will be carried out on the page attached. Share your choices with Darlene so that she can share them with Skyla McCreery, the Head Teacher and then Skyla can arrange for supplies and equipment needed to carry them out. SAGE is looking for many, many people to help and they are also looking for 2-3 people with chainsaws and 2-3 people with trucks to haul junk wood and branches off the grounds. Then SAGE also needs many, many other people to help with all the jobs on the attached list. If you can help, please let Darlene (Darlene Reimche <rhymekey@telus.net>) know as soon as possible. Skyla can then teach her students to the end of the year, June 23, and also arrange for equipment and tools. She will be one very, very busy lady. So, we invite each one of you to come and participate and bring friends who will also come and work. SAGErs and other people are sooooooooooooo needed!
AB Camp Meeting 2023: Plan now to join us for nine power-packed days as we celebrate the 50-year anniversary of Alberta Camp Meeting at Foothills Camp. The camp meeting 2023 will take place from July 14 to 22. Our theme is “But By My Spirit Saith the Lord” - we will explore the power of God’s Spirit at work in our lives. Furthermore, many adult meetings in the auditorium are live streamed online. So, whether you are joining us in-person or online, WELCOME!

Parkview Adventist Academy is Hiring for 2023-2024 :
1) EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT - Parkview Adventist Academy is hiring a Part-time (0.5 FTE) Educational Assistant for the 2022-2023 school year. In collaboration with classroom teachers and the school administrative team, the Educational Assistant, will be working with small groups and/or individual students to support their learning and/or physical needs. Foothills Camp Employment. Foothills Camp still has a few vacancies. We especially need a Camp Nurse even for one week if possible. Needed is Junior Camp, July 2-9; Adventure Camp July 23-27; Teen Camp July 30-August 6; Specialty Camps August 6-11. We are also looking for a head lifeguard. Pay would be $625 weekly. We are needing a boys and girls directors as well. As these positions are leadership positions, applicants should be at least 21 years old with experience. The Red Deer Soup Kitchen would like to thank all those who participated in our “Walk in Their Shoes” fundraiser. It was a fun day with many enthusiastic walkers. SSCS Gym Rentals: If you would like to rent the gym for birthdays, reunions, weddings, or sporting events, please contact the school at office@southsidechristianschool.org. The rates are $65.00 per hour or $250.00 per day for the gymnasium plus a $20 host rate to have the gym opened.

SOUP KITCHEN

SOUP KITCHEN: We are seeking participants who are interested in creating a small group atmosphere and care group for the downtown soup kitchen population. We are praying for God's guidance and power to offer something spiritually tangible for the people. Let us ask the Lord for His wisdom and power to touch hearts and lead many to Jesus. Every one is welcome to volunteer and help in anyway possible. Our church goes every fourth Sabbath of the month and the following Thursday after the 4th Sabbath. At the Adventist Community Centre, Downtown opposite TD Bank. Hope to see you there. Starts at 3:00PM until 6:00PM. Stay tuned for more exciting opportunities.
