Sabbath services are available via livestream for those who are unable to go to church:

Red Deer Seventh-day Adventist  Church is now Open to the public for Sabbath worship services.  The Red Deer SDA church under the direction of the Alberta Conference of Seventh-day Adventist will continue to promote and follow the guidelines of the Alberta Government in maintaining physical and social distances and preventing the spread of corona virus. The Red Deer SDA church at this time can only physically accommodate 100 congregants while adhering to the 2 meters physical distancing requirement.  Online pre-registration available for members/visitors as well as desk registration to record the number of attendees.

REGISTRATION AND SCREENING are essential requirements set out by the government to ensure that we are all safe. 




Reminders for Attendees:

Online Registration Deadline is Friday at 7:00PM.

Covid-19 questionnaires to be filled out 2 hours or less prior to leaving your homes.

Please use the Front Door for Entrance and Back Door for Exit.

Please watch for signs and posters in and outside of the church.

Upon entering the church, please come to the Front Desk.  Ushers and Greeters will provide instructions, ask some questions, and usher you to your seats.

Ushers and Greeters can help answer questions that you have… please do not hesitate to ask.

Every Sabbath, your name, address and contact number will be collected and listed as well upon entrance for the same purpose of contact tracing if need be.

Greeters, Deacons and other Volunteer members will be at the door to greet, ask the Covid-19 screening questions and guide you to your seats.

Signs, posters and markings are available in and around the church for additional guidance.

Wearing of non-medical masks is optional.

You can also use Interac e-Transfer for Tithes and Offerings to Red Deer SDA Church. Make payments or donations to the church directly from your bank account, without the need of a credit card. PLEASE NOTE: E-Transfer REGISTRATION is REQUIRED. Without registration, we will be unable to issue a tax receipt for any donations made and may be unable to apply payments as intended under certain circumstances.  Unallocated funds will be applied to Red Deer SDA Church Budget.

***NEW***The Alberta Conference now provides pre-authorized debits for Tithes and Offerings.  Pre-authorized debit is provided to donors as a simple and automated way to give Tithes and Offerings without the hassle of going online.  The Alberta Conference will withdraw funds once a month, between the 1st and 5th, and pass those funds on to the designated Alberta Conference church.  Please fill in the form available at and submit it by mailing it to the Conference Office by mail or email (  There is no charge for this service. The pre-authorized debits option is being provided to fill the need for those who are unable to use the other two online options.

SSCS Gym Rentals: If you would like to rent the gym for birthdays, reunions, weddings, or sporting events, please contact the school at  The rates are $65.00 per hour or $250.00 per day for the gymnasium plus a $20 host rate to have the gym opened.

Sep 14 – Nov 23, 2020 (6:30PM-8:30PM): Health Series via Online presented by Sherry Silk. This is a free event, but you must email or call Sherry to sign up so she can send you the Zoom link for the classes a few days before they begin. Classes run for 10 weeks. Contact or call 403-304-8464.

Andrews University invites family members of all ages to watch the live STEM Show on Sunday, September 13 at 7pm EST. This interactive STEM experience will showcase various STEM career possibilities. SOUP KITCHEN: We are seeking participants who are interested in creating a small group atmosphere and care group for the downtown soup kitchen population. We are praying for God's guidance and power to offer something spiritually tangible for the people. Let us ask the Lord for His wisdom and power to touch hearts and lead many to Jesus. Every one is welcome to volunteer and help in anyway possible. Our church goes every fourth Sabbath of the month and the following Thursday after the 4th Sabbath. At the Adventist Community Centre, Downtown opposite TD Bank. Hope to see you there. HOSPITAL VISIT - CHAPEL SERVICE: Our Church is involved with hosting Chapel Service at the Red Deer Hospital. We go every first Sabbath of the month at 3pm till 3:30pm. You are all welcome.
